Privacy Policy

What is collected when you visit this site, why it is collected, and how to control it.

Last updated: September 2026

The short version

Our website does not ask you to create an account, take payments, or sell personal information. The only data involved is the ordinary technical information your browser sends to any website, plus anything you choose to send us by email.

Information collected automatically

  • Technical data such as IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, and screen size.
  • Usage data such as which pages you opened, how long you stayed, and which site referred you here.
  • Approximate location derived from your IP address, at city or region level rather than a precise position.

Information you give us

If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you write. We use it to answer your question, arrange a catering order or act on your feedback. We do not add you to a mailing list or pass your address to anyone else.

Cookies and similar technologies

Cookies are small files stored by your browser. This site may use them to understand how pages are used and, where advertising is shown, to support how ads are delivered and measured.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. The site remains readable with cookies disabled.

Analytics

Aggregate analytics help us see which pages guests use most and where information is missing. Reports show patterns across visitors rather than identifying individuals.

Advertising partners

Where third-party advertising is displayed, those networks may set their own cookies or use device identifiers to serve and measure ads, including personalised advertising based on prior visits to this and other websites.

Google is one such vendor. You can control personalised advertising through Google Ads Settings, and you can opt out of personalised advertising from many other vendors through the industry opt-out pages operated by the Network Advertising Initiative and the Digital Advertising Alliance.

Embedded content

Some pages embed a Google Maps frame so you can find us on Abbott Ave. Loading that frame connects your browser to Google, which may collect data under its own privacy policy. Pages without a map do not make that connection.

Your choices and rights

  • Block or clear cookies through your browser settings.
  • Use your browser's do-not-track or privacy settings, and opt out of personalised advertising through the vendor pages linked above.
  • Email us to ask what we hold about you, or to ask us to delete correspondence you have sent.
  • Depending on where you live, laws such as the GDPR or the CCPA may give you further rights over access, correction, and deletion.

Children

Our website is written for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and it will be deleted.

Data retention and security

Email correspondence is kept only as long as it is useful for answering your enquiry or completing an order, then deleted. Analytics data is retained in aggregate form. No website can guarantee perfect security, but we take reasonable steps to protect what little data passes through here.

Changes to this policy

This policy is updated when the site's practices change. The revision date at the top of the page shows when it was last edited.
